The benefits of extracurricular clubs

It's no secret that we all need outlets, something to take our minds off the daily grind and give us a moment of relaxation. For some kids, extracurricular clubs serve as those outlets, providing opportunities to learn and try new things that benefit them. An extracurricular club is in no way a waste of time; it's more important than we may realize.
In an ever-changing world like ours, young people face increasingly complex problems and are in dire need of guidance, mentorship, and support. Many government or district schools lack the capacity to fully support young people in all the ways necessary for their growth. Clubs like Expression Circle fill that gap by providing a community for young people to thrive, grow, and belong. Student-centred and student-led activities and events instill a sense of responsibility, commitment, teamwork, and confidence.
We need to support and participate in community projects that foster youth development. OTL’s Expression Circle is one of such projects which can benefit from your help. You can donate to support our projects, become a volunteer in the capacity of a tutor or staff member, or become a mentor.
Your contribution may seem small to you, but a little money, and a few hours of your time can go a long way to help the people who need it.
